The Diamer Basha Dam, under construction on the Indus River, will be the world’s tallest Roller-Compacted Concrete (RCC) dam at 272 meters. Construction continues around the clock on key sections including the dam pit, left abutment, and power intake structures. Once completed, it will store 8.1 million acre-feet of water and generate 4,500 megawatts of affordable hydropower, strengthening Pakistan’s energy and water security.
