Faisalabad: Pakistan cricket team, which won the first match, suffered a humiliating defeat in the second ODI. In the second match of the 3-match ODI series at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, Pakistan cricket team suffered a humiliating 8-wicket defeat at the hands of South Africa. They also scored a century against themselves. The Green Caps won the first match in a big way but lost the second match in a terrible manner. Pakistan once again won the toss of the second One Day International match played in Faisalabad, 2 Tests, 3 T20 matches and now the second ODI. Both batted aggressively and made a partnership of 155 runs for the second wicket and played only 22 overs for it. Pakistan took the second wicket in the 35th over when de Zorzi was out for 76 runs. South Africa achieved the target in 40.1 overs for 2 wickets. De Kock returned unbeaten on 123 runs off 119 balls, hitting 7 sixes and 8 fours. For Pakistan, Mohammad Wasim and Faheem Ashraf took one wicket each. With the 8-wicket win, the Proteas leveled the 3-match series 1-1. The deciding match will be played here on November 8.
