Pakistani Juniors Excel at ITF World Junior Tennis Championships in Islamabad and Osaka

The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) is pleased to inform you that the ITF Pakistan National Foods World Junior Tennis Championship J-60 -2025 continued at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad. A large number of junior tennis players from around the world, including China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lithuania, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Nepal, and the host nation, Pakistan, are participating in this prestigious tournament. The event was proudly sponsored by National Foods of Pakistan.
⦁ In the boys’ Singles, Hamza Roman and Mikaeel Ali Baig qualified for the final.
⦁ In the Boys Doubles, Pakistan’s Hamza Roman, Mikaeel Ali Baig, and Abubakar Talha are also in the final.
Nadir Mirza Reaches Semifinals of ITF J-30 Osaka, Japan
Pakistan’s promising young tennis player Nadir Mirza has qualified for the semifinals of the ITF World Junior Tennis Championship (J-30) in Osaka, Japan. In an impressive quarterfinal performance, Nadir defeated Kodai Abe of Japan with a score of 6-4, 6-1. Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), congratulated all the players on their outstanding achievements and said, “Our players are performing remarkably well across the world, and I am very happy to see such positive results. We have two boys in the singles final and three boys in the doubles final in Islamabad, while Nadir has reached the semifinal in Japan. This is a great testament to the hard work being done for the development of tennis in the country.”
Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufail, Secretary General of the PTF, also extended his congratulations to all the players for their excellent performances both at home and abroad, and wished them continued success in their upcoming matches.

⦁ Boys Singles-Semi Finals: Mikaeel Ali Baig (PAK) bt Emre Atlamis (TUR) 6-3,7-5; Hamza Roman bt Abubakar Talha (PAK) 6-4,6-2
⦁ Girls Singles Semi Finals: Haniya Aman Minhas (KSA) bt Denzi Cakil (TUR) 6-0.7-5; Varvara Rubtsova (RUS) bt Karolina Ligai (KAZ) 6-2,7-6(4)
⦁ Boys Doubles Semi Finals: Mikaeel Ali Baig(PAK)/Kristijonas Milasauskas(LTU) bt Abdul Basit / M.Haziq Aasim 2-6,6-2(10-3) ;Hamza Roman / Abubakar Talha bt 6-7(3), 6-1(10-6)
