A colorful food festival was organized by the Department of Biosciences of COMSATS University Sahiwal. The students showcased their creativity and skills through cooking competitions, live cooking demos and various food stalls. Deputy Commissioner Shahid Mahmood attended the event as the chief guest. Representatives of several institutions including the Punjab Food Authority also attended the event and appreciated the hard work and dedication of the students. At the beginning of the event, Sahiwal Campus Director Prof. Dr. Najeeb Rehman, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, Head of Department of Biosciences and Dr. Abrar Hussain, Principal Organizer welcomed the guests. Deputy Commissioner Shahid Mahmood appreciated the professionalism and creative ideas of the students and said that such festivals not only increase the awareness of food safety but also provide the students with the best platform to hone their skills.
