Sahiwal: Deputy Commissioner Saima Ali, during a performance review of Price Control Magistrates, expressed serious displeasure over rising complaints about overpricing of bread and naan. She stressed that government-fixed prices must be enforced, with strict action against violators, including major hotels and restaurants. Over 18,000 inspections were conducted in October across Sahiwal and Chichawatani, resulting in fines exceeding 4.4 million rupees, 13 FIRs, and the arrest of 73 shopkeepers for violations.
