Chief Executive Officer District Education Authority Sahiwal Mian Muhammad Khalid Alam chaired an important meeting along with all District Education Officers and Deputy District Education Officers from across the district. At the beginning of the meeting, all the officers welcomed the newly appointed CEO Mian Muhammad Khalid Alam on his arrival and attendance in Sahiwal and expressed their best wishes. The meeting reviewed the overall situation of the education system of Sahiwal district, the performance of schools, the attendance of teachers and students, the improvement in the quality of education and the ongoing development projects in detail. On this occasion, CEO Mian Muhammad Khalid Alam directed the officers to ensure regular and effective field visits and closely monitor the attendance of teachers, registration of students and teaching process in schools. He clarified that it is the common responsibility of all of us to implement the educational vision of the Punjab government and no negligence or carelessness will be tolerated in this regard. During the meeting, the cleanliness, beautification, provision of basic facilities and security arrangements of schools were also discussed in detail. The CEO directed that a clean environment, clean drinking water, functional washrooms and other basic facilities should be ensured in all schools at all times. Moreover, special emphasis was laid on formulating a comprehensive strategy to improve educational outcomes, conducting additional classes for weak students and professional training of teachers. At the end of the meeting, CEO Mian Muhammad Khalid Alam exhorted all officers to perform their duties in a dynamic manner and make public service their top priority.
