District Police Officer Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu paid a surprise visit to Ghala Mandi police station late last night. During the visit, DPO Sahiwal made a detailed review of the records, warehouse, custody, front desk and various issues of service delivery in the police station. DPO Sahiwal checked the registration of cases registered in the police station, investigation process, condition of the accused in custody and cleanliness and security arrangements in custody. On this occasion, he directed to keep the records of the police station complete in a timely manner and in accordance with the law and laid special emphasis on the prompt and transparent redressal of the complaints of the citizens. DPO Sahiwal, while issuing instructions to the police station staff, said that good manners, merit and supremacy of law should be ensured with the public at all times. He clarified that negligence, carelessness or unprofessional behavior in duties will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
