Punjab Social Security accelerates Rs10,000 Ramazan relief and ration card distribution for registered workers in Faisalabad.

Faisalabad: the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the process of providing financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 to registered workers during the holy month of Ramazan is underway. In this regard, Commissioner Social Security Punjab Zulfiqar Ali Kharal paid a detailed visit to Faisalabad and inspected various factories, Social Security offices and the Social Security Hospital.During his visit to Kalash Factory, the Commissioner distributed Maryam Nawaz Ration Cards among workers and reviewed the distribution process in detail. He also interacted directly with the workers and inquired about the facilities being provided to them. The workers expressed satisfaction and happiness over the government’s initiative.Speaking on the occasion, Zulfiqar Ali Kharal stated that under the special directives of the Chief Minister Punjab, registered workers are being provided Rs. 10,000 during Ramazan. He added that eligible workers can also withdraw the amount in cash. The Commissioner directed the staff concerned to properly guide workers regarding the cash withdrawal procedure to ensure they do not face any inconvenience. He further said that the distribution process of Social Security Cards among workers is being further accelerated.The Commissioner also visited the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he meet office-bearers and discussed matters related to Social Security.
Later, he visited the Madina Town Social Security Hospital and conducted a detailed review of various departments, administrative affairs and service delivery. The Medical Superintendent (MS) briefed him about the hospital’s performance. The Commissioner checked cleanliness arrangements, attendance of doctors and staff and directed the administration to ensure the provision of the best possible medical facilities to workers. He also planted a tree in the hospital lawn.
During the visit, the Commissioner reviewed the performance of the Directorates of Social Security Faisalabad East and West. The concerned directors briefed him on contribution collections, workers’ welfare recovery targets, distribution of Maryam Nawaz Ration Cards and other administrative matters.
Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali Kharal reaffirmed his commitment that, in line with the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab, further improvements will be made in workers’ welfare, financial assistance and healthcare facilities to provide maximum relief to the labor community.
