Revolutionary measures continue for the promotion of education in Balochistan.

On the auspicious occasion of World Literacy Day, the Balochistan Education Department has reaffirmed its commitment to an educational revolution in the province by announcing historic initiatives.
In a statement issued by Secretary Education Balochistan, Lal Jan Jafar, it was said that the top priority of the provincial government is to give every child a pen and a book, because education is not just a right but a guarantee for the progress of future generations.
According to the report of the Education Department, four major revolutionary steps have been taken in this regard:
Restoration of Closed Schools: 3,800 government schools that had been closed for a long time across the province have been made functional again, providing educational facilities to thousands of students in their own villages and areas.

Record Success in Enrollment Campaign: As a result of a special campaign launched across the province, a record over 768,000 out-of-school children have been brought back into the light of education.

Recruitment of 15,000 Teachers on Merit: To ensure the provision of quality education, the recruitment process of 15,000 new teachers on a transparent and merit-based system has been completed.
Alignment with the Modern Era: Along with traditional education, IT and modern technology education has been included in the curriculum to align students with the demands of the digital age.

On this occasion, Secretary Education Lal Jan Jafar said, “We must consider the education sector as a sacred opportunity and work with the determination that the children of the nation are adorned with the jewel of knowledge in the modern era and are fully aware of modern technology. On this basis, we will have to play our full role to bring further development and improvement in this work.
He further added that the slogan of the Government of Balochistan is “Education for All, Bright Balochistan with All” and all resources will be utilized for this bright future.
