Sahiwal: Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider said that the development of the country is not possible without providing purposeful education to the youth and teaching them skills. According to the requirements of the time, the youth should be attracted towards e-commerce. He said this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of a center under “Skills for All Program” at Suburban Village 57/5L during his visit to Sahiwal. It was established by Dr. Shafiq Hussain, the head of the Department of Computer Science, University of Sahiwal, to provide education to the youth of the area. A large number of local dignitaries also participated in the ceremony. Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider said that skill is the only way of survival of nations in the present challenging era and India has achieved the status of a strong economy of the world only by educating its youth in computers. It is important for them to get such education that they can get employment even sitting at home. Earlier in his welcome speech, Dr. Shafiq Hussain said that under this program, training will be provided to the youth in such online programs. Who have a market demand and they don’t even need to get admission in any college or university. He also announced to make these courses free of cost to the children of martyrs, orphans and children of beneficiaries of Benazir Income Support Program.
