Thousands of Muslims congregated at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, for overnight prayers to observe Laylat al-Qadr, one of the holiest nights in Islam. Worshippers filled the sacred site, seeking blessings, forgiveness, and divine mercy on this spiritually significant occasion.
Laylat al-Qadr, known as the Night of Power, is believed to be the night when the Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad. Devotees spent the night in prayer, recitation of the Quran, and supplication, as it is considered a time when prayers are most likely to be accepted.
Security and religious authorities in Saudi Arabia managed the large crowds, ensuring a peaceful and organized gathering. Similar prayers were held in mosques worldwide as Muslims continued their worship during the final nights of Ramadan.
