IMF Team to Visit Pakistan for Budget Preparations Starting Tomorrow

Islamabad: The IMF team will visit Pakistan starting April 4 to assist in preparing the budget for the next fiscal year.

The delegation will hold discussions with Pakistani officials regarding the budget for fiscal year 2025-26, focusing on tax revenue measures, controlling expenditures, and other developmental budgetary aspects.

Sources indicate that the federal budget for the upcoming fiscal year will be presented in the first week of June, with the IMF team working closely with Pakistani authorities to finalize proposals before the budget is presented.
