MD Suthra Punjab Attock Anil Saeed Conducts Surprise Visit to Rural Areas

Attock: Managing Director Suthra Punjab Attock, Anil Saeed, conducted a surprise visit to various rural areas of Attock to inspect cleanliness arrangements, workers’ attendance and overall performance.

During the visit, Anil Saeed inspected sanitation arrangements at different locations and checked the attendance and performance of Suthra Punjab workers. He also interacted with staff members and sought details about the cleaning activities being carried out in the respective areas.

The MD Suthra Punjab also inspected the TCP (Waste Collection Point) and reviewed the arrangements for waste collection and disposal. He directed the concerned staff to ensure that cleanliness standards were maintained at the waste collection points.

In view of the ongoing rains and the possibility of flooding, Anil Saeed directed the relevant staff to pay special attention to the cleaning of drains and improving the drainage system. He emphasized that drains should be cleared regularly so that rainwater can be drained efficiently and any emergency situation can be dealt with promptly.

Anil Saeed issued special instructions to make the area a “Zero Waste” zone, stressing that garbage piles should not be visible anywhere. He directed the field staff to ensure regular cleaning and proper waste removal across the rural areas.

He warned that negligence in official duties would not be tolerated. He said that strict action would be taken against any worker or officer found negligent in carrying out assigned responsibilities.

The MD Suthra Punjab further stated that, in accordance with the Chief Minister Punjab’s vision, efforts would be made to transform the entire district into a model Clean and Green district.

He emphasized that all available resources should be utilized to improve sanitation services and ensure that citizens are provided with a clean, healthy and environmentally friendly atmosphere.
