In Khanewal, a five-day national polio campaign has commenced. Parliamentary Secretary MPA Rana Saleem Khan and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Bukhari inaugurated the campaign by administering polio drops to children. The campaign aims to vaccinate 614,789 children across the district, with 2,072 teams mobilized for this mission. Authorities urge parents to ensure their children, ages one to five, receive the vaccine to help eradicate polio from Pakistan.
