Naat Gathering in Attock Highlights Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ and Rights of Persons with Disabilities

ATTOCK: A spiritually uplifting Naat gathering was organized in Attock as part of the celebrations marking Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ. The event was attended by officials of the district administration and municipal authorities, as well as political and social figures and persons with disabilities.
During the gathering, Naat reciters presented devotional poetry in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, while speakers shed light on various aspects of his life and teachings.
Addressing the gathering, Additional Deputy Commissioner Attock Anil Saeed and Allama Maulana Shahid Raza Madani emphasized the importance of following the example of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. They said that the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is an ideal model and source of guidance for all humanity.
The speakers highlighted that persons with disabilities are an important part of society and stressed that providing them with equal opportunities to participate and progress in every field is a collective responsibility.
Anil Saeed said that the Seerat of the Holy Prophet ﷺ teaches humanity the values of love, brotherhood, equality, patience, tolerance and service to humanity. He emphasized that Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ celebrations should not remain limited to traditional ceremonies, but the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ should be incorporated into practical life.
The event was also attended by Chief Officer Municipal Committee Attock Sardar Aftab Ahmed Khan, Pakistan Peoples Party candidate for the provincial assembly Barrister Malik Azaan Awan, Head Clerk Raja Zahid Hussain, and Naeeb-e-Mehfil Sajid Mahmood Qadri.
The speakers said that the true purpose of celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ is to spread the teachings and noble character of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Participants also expressed their commitment to supporting and encouraging persons with disabilities and continuing efforts for their welfare.
The gathering concluded with a special prayer for the security, progress, prosperity and well-being of Pakistan and its people.
