Afghanistan Rejects Foreign Troop Presence, Responds to Trump’s Statement

Afghan officials rejected US President Donald Trump’s claim of reclaiming Bagram Airbase. Speaking from London, Trump said the US is attempting to take back the base, near China’s nuclear production site. Afghan Foreign Ministry’s Second Political Director, Zakir Jalali, responded on Twitter, emphasizing that Afghans have never accepted foreign military presence on their soil.
