Turkish artist Serap Lokmaci has created a unique and deeply personal tribute by painting a portrait of deceased Hungarian woman Katalin Kollar using her cremated remains.
The artwork, commissioned by Kollar’s family, serves as a way to immortalize her memory in a tangible form. Lokmaci, known for her unconventional approach, described the piece as a fusion of art and legacy, allowing loved ones to keep a part of Kollar with them forever.
