Ayodhya Prepares for Historic Diwali at Ram Temple with Nearly 3 Million Lamps

The city of Ayodhya, India, is set for an extraordinary Diwali as it hosts its first “Ayodhya Deepotsav” following the consecration of the Ram Temple. Nearly three million eco-friendly lamps will light up the Saryu River’s banks, aiming to set a world record. Over 30,000 volunteers and thousands of devotees are part of the celebrations, which include performances by international artists from Nepal and Thailand, adding a global dimension. Actor Akshay Kumar has also contributed, sponsoring a feeding van for monkeys, emphasizing harmony and care for all beings.
