Comprehensive Educational and Healthcare Revival in Chaman: Schools Reopened, College and Hospital Upgraded
Eighty previously defunct schools in District Chaman have been rendered fully functional, while a two-hundred-bed hospital is scheduled to be inaugurated in the near future. Furthermore, concrete and wide-ranging measures have been undertaken to comprehensively revitalize Government Shaheed Aimal Khan Advocate Degree College Chaman and Government Model Higher Secondary School Chaman. These initiatives notably include the renovation, refurbishment, and upgradation of examination halls and allied academic infrastructure.
The overarching objective of these developmental endeavors is to ensure the provision of a conducive, pleasant, and academically enabling environment for male and female students during examinations, educational ceremonies, and throughout the various phases of their academic pursuit.
These remarks were made by the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, while speaking to media representatives at the inauguration ceremony of the newly renovated examination hall at Government Model Higher Secondary School Chaman.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Habib Ahmed Bangulzai; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Fida Muhammad Baloch; District Education Officer, Abdul Qadoos Khan Achakzai District President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Haji Attaullah Khan Achakzai; Principal, Haji Ghulam Sarwar Achakzai; along with school administration, officers of the Education Department, and other relevant officials.
On the occasion, the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly stated that special and sustained focus is being accorded to the education and health sectors. While lauding the pivotal role of the Education Department in the promotion of quality education, he emphasized that access to sound healthcare services and high-standard education constitutes a fundamental right of every boy and girl. He further asserted that the provincial government is undertaking earnest, pragmatic, and result-oriented measures to ensure the effective realization of these basic rights.
Following the completion of renovation work under the BISD project, the examination hall was formally inaugurated by the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, in recognition of exemplary administrative performance, an honorary shield was presented by the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly to Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Habib Ahmed Bangulzai. Additionally, District Education Officer Abdul Qadoos Achakzai, on behalf of the Education Department, presented an honorary shield to the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly.
