Former Pakistan cricket captain Younis Khan has been appointed to a key position by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB).

Younis will serve as the mentor for the Afghanistan cricket team during the upcoming Champions Trophy. Previously, in 2022, he had worked as the batting coach for the Afghan team.

According to ACB spokesperson Syed Naseem Sadat, Younis Khan will join the Afghanistan team before the start of the Champions Trophy to provide his expertise and guidance.
