Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Reaffirms Resolve to Eliminate Terrorism During Quetta Visit

Pakistan Armed Forces Will Continue Operations Until Complete Elimination of Terrorism and Unrest, Says Syed Asim Munir

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), Hilal-e-Jur’at, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff, visited Quetta Garrison where he addressed officers under training and faculty members at the Command and Staff College, Quetta.

During his address, the Field Marshal praised the institution’s high standards of military training, academic excellence, and professional development. He stated that the Command and Staff College, Quetta has always maintained a distinguished position in military education and training, producing officers who have earned recognition through exceptional professional performance and commitment.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir highlighted the rapidly evolving nature of modern warfare and stressed the importance of adapting to emerging technologies, multi-domain operations, tri-services integration, and future battlefield challenges. He directed officers to continuously improve their professional skills and operational readiness to effectively meet emerging security challenges.

Later, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff met officers and soldiers deployed in Balochistan and discussed the prevailing security situation in the province.

The Field Marshal reiterated that Pakistan’s Armed Forces, with the unwavering support of the people, know how to defend the homeland and are fully determined to eliminate all forms of terrorism and unrest from the country.

He stated that Pakistan’s progress and rise cannot be stopped through propaganda, fake news, or externally sponsored terrorism. He added that all attempts to destabilize Pakistan through proxy warfare and malicious campaigns would fail because of the unity of the people and the strength of state institutions.

Highlighting the importance of peace and stability in Balochistan, the Field Marshal said that sustainable development can only be achieved through people-centric policies, inclusive development, improved governance, and effective security measures.

He also appreciated the efforts of the Government of Balochistan for socio-economic development, public welfare initiatives, and strengthening trust between the state and the people.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir commended the high morale, operational preparedness, and professional dedication of officers and soldiers serving in Balochistan for maintaining peace, stability, and state authority.

Earlier, upon arrival in Quetta, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff was received by the Commander Quetta Corps.
