Five Killed, Two Injured in Firing Incident by Unidentified Gunmen in Mezi Adda

Five people, including Malik Dad Muhammad Kakar, were killed and two others injured when unidentified armed men opened fire in Mezi Adda. Following the tragic incident, angry protesters and local residents blocked the Quetta–Chaman National Highway to all kinds of traffic.
The victims’ families have refused to bury the deceased and have instead kept the bodies at the protest site. The demonstrators have demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in the attack and swift justice for the victims.
The unfortunate incident took place last night in Nadra Market. The unidentified attackers managed to escape after carrying out the shooting.

Due to the highway blockade, traffic flow has been severely disrupted, and all types of transportation remain suspended.
Members of civil society have called on the relevant authorities to take immediate notice of the incident and ensure justice and support for the affected families.
