In southwest Turkey, an ambulance helicopter crashed while taking off from Mugla Training and Research Hospital on Sunday, December 22, killing all four onboard—a doctor, a medical worker, and two pilots. The helicopter struck the hospital’s fourth floor before hitting the ground. Heavy fog is suspected as a factor, though investigations are ongoing. Fortunately, no one inside the building or on the ground was injured. Emergency teams responded promptly to the scene, where debris was scattered outside the hospital.
