Pakistani Nation Stands Firmly with Kashmiri Brothers, Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar
Faisalabad: On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, a dignified seminar was held at the Municipal Corporation Hall where Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar participated as the chief guest. Addressing the seminar, the Commissioner said that the Kashmiri people are not alone in their struggle for freedom, as the entire Pakistani nation stands shoulder to shoulder with them and will continue its moral and diplomatic support at all levels.
He stated that February 5 serves as a reminder to the international community of the United Nations resolutions on Kashmir, whose implementation remains a global responsibility. The Kashmiri people are a symbol of unwavering determination and high morale in their quest for the right to self-determination. He added that the Modi-led government has turned Indian-occupied Kashmir into the world’s largest prison through unconstitutional measures, but India cannot deprive Kashmiris of their legitimate right to freedom through state oppression.
Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, Nadeem Nasir, in his address said that the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir are fighting a war for freedom and survival. Kashmir remains the unfinished agenda of the partition of the subcontinent, and the dark face of so-called Indian democracy has now been exposed to the world. He emphasized that the Kashmiri people have written a new history with their blood and sacrifices, which no power can erase. Strong condemnation was expressed over the inhuman treatment of Kashmiris by Indian forces.
During the seminar, students delivered impactful speeches and presented national songs, while the flags of Pakistan and Kashmir were hoisted in the hall. Following the seminar, a Kashmir Solidarity rally was taken out from the Municipal Corporation Office to Chenab Club Chowk, led by Commissioner Faisalabad. Participants chanted slogans to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people, including “Kashmir will become Pakistan” and “Freedom of Kashmir is inevitable.”
Addressing the rally, the Commissioner Faisalabad reiterated that the Pakistani nation stands firmly with the Kashmiri people and will continue its moral and diplomatic support. He urged the international community to play an effective role in stopping Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. He expressed confidence that the sun of Kashmir’s freedom would rise soon and that the struggle would reach its logical conclusion.
The Kashmir Solidarity Day activities concluded with a special prayer for the freedom of Kashmir, the safety of the Kashmiri people, and lasting peace in the region, while participants reaffirmed their resolve to continue raising their voices in support of the Kashmiri cause.
