The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) reached a new milestone, with the index hitting its highest-ever level. On the fifth day of the trading week, the market experienced a strong upward trend, with the 100-index rising by 561 points, reaching 164,643 points at the start of trading.

For the first time, the PSX crossed the 100,000-point mark, marking a historic achievement. The index had closed at 111,118 points the previous day.

Meanwhile, the dollar also saw a decrease in the interbank market, where its value dropped by 4 rupees, bringing the dollar price to 278 rupees.
