Miss Aasya Ismail, Advocate High Court Lahore and noted Legal Research Scholar, concluded an academic visit to Nepal where she delivered a series of scholarly lectures at Tribhuvan University and several other leading law institutions of the country.

During her visit, Miss Ismail presented a keynote lecture on “Judicial Review and Democracy,” which drew participation from prominent legal academics, senior faculty members and representatives of the judiciary. Her comprehensive address highlighted the evolving role of judicial review in strengthening democratic governance across South Asia.

According to university officials, her visit aimed to promote interdisciplinary academic engagement and pave the way for enhanced research collaboration among regional legal institutions. Nepali law scholars appreciated her contribution and termed the exchange a significant step towards fostering cross-border academic dialogue.

Miss Aasya Ismail expressed gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized the need for sustained cooperation between Pakistani and Nepali legal academia.
