Warm Welcome for PML-N Minority Wing Punjab Senior Vice President Emmanuel Ghouri in Canada
To Attend Kabaddi Tournament as Chief Guest; Meetings with Christian Community Delegations Scheduled
Faisalabad (Mian Iftikhar Ahmad): Emmanuel Ghouri, Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Minority Wing Punjab, received a warm and enthusiastic welcome during his private visit to Vancouver, Canada. Members of the local Pakistani and Christian communities, party workers, and social figures greeted him upon his arrival and extended their best wishes for a successful stay.
During his visit, Emmanuel Ghouri is scheduled to participate in a number of social, cultural, and community events. He will also serve as the Chief Guest at a prominent Kabaddi tournament, where he is expected to interact with players, organizers, and community representatives while expressing his views on the promotion of sports and youth engagement.
According to the visit schedule, Emmanuel Ghouri will hold meetings with delegations of the Christian community, social leaders, and representatives of various community organizations based in Canada. The discussions will focus on issues facing Christian communities, interfaith harmony, social development, youth empowerment, and opportunities for strengthening mutual cooperation between communities.
Speaking on the occasion, Emmanuel Ghouri stated that overseas Pakistanis and members of the Christian community are valuable national assets who not only contribute significantly to the economy through remittances but also play an important role in promoting a positive image of Pakistan across the world. He emphasized that such visits help strengthen ties among Pakistani communities living abroad and provide opportunities to enhance cultural and social cooperation.
Community leaders in Canada expressed confidence that Emmanuel Ghouri’s visit would further strengthen people-to-people relations between Pakistan and Canada, promote intercultural understanding, and encourage collaborative efforts to address community concerns and foster social harmony.
They also hoped that the visit would contribute positively to the development of stronger cultural and social links between the two countries.
