The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has forecast rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall in northern areas of Pakistan from Saturday to Tuesday.

Regions including Quetta, Pishin, Zhob, and Dera Ghazi Khan are expected to experience heavy rain and snowfall on mountains. Similar conditions are anticipated in coastal and western areas such as Gwadar, Khuzdar, and Kalat.

Light rain or drizzle may occur in Islamabad, Murree, Potohar, and surrounding areas, improving air quality and reducing smog in Punjab. However, fog intensity in plains may increase, affecting visibility.

Travelers and farmers are advised to stay cautious and plan activities accordingly. Authorities have been directed to remain on high alert and take necessary measures to address potential challenges during the rainy period.
