District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Engineer Imran Khan Mangat inspected the building safety of hospitals, furniture markets, malls and other commercial and public buildings in Mandi Bahauddin city. During the inspection, a detailed review of the fire safety arrangements in the buildings was conducted, which included fire extinguishers, DCP cylinders, emergency entry and exit, emergency alarm system, smoke detectors and first aid facilities. The District Emergency Officer issued clear instructions to the concerned owners and administration regarding building safety and said that a 15-day notice is being given to complete these safety arrangements. He warned that if the safety measures are not completed within the stipulated period, action will be taken as per the law, which may include heavy fines, legal challans and strict measures like sealing the building. The aim of this inspection is to protect the lives and property of the public. The aim is to protect property, prevent accidents, and ensure timely and effective response to any emergency situation.
