FAISALABAD: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera has reaffirmed his commitment to eliminating corruption within the police department, stating that a strict accountability process against corrupt and negligent officers is actively underway.Addressing departmental matters, RPO Sukhera made it clear that there is no place in the police force for corrupt, incompetent, or careless officers. He emphasized that honesty, professionalism and a strong sense of duty will remain the defining standards for police officials serving in the region.
He further stated that while sincere and dedicated officers will be encouraged and appreciated for their performance, strict action will continue against those involved in corruption or misconduct. A zero-tolerance policy against corrupt elements is being implemented without discrimination.The RPO also highlighted that an effective monitoring system is being further strengthened to ensure transparency in the police system and to facilitate timely redressal of public complaints. He said that improving internal accountability and restoring public trust remain top priorities. RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera added that impartial departmental actions to maintain discipline will continue in the future as well. He reiterated that no negligence will be tolerated when it comes to the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
The RPO concluded by assuring the public that the Faisalabad Police is fully committed to upholding justice, transparency, and professional integrity at all levels.
