Former Pakistan cricket captain and ICC T20 World Cup-winning skipper Younus Khan is set to visit Houston, Texas, on Sunday, August 30, 2026, as part of Helping Hand for Relief & Development (HHRD)’s nationwide awareness and fundraising campaign for one of Pakistan’s most ambitious healthcare initiatives.
The Houston event will serve as the final stop of HHRD’s 10-city USA tour, aimed at generating awareness and financial support for the Karachi Institute of Neurological Diseases & Rehab (KIND-R)—a state-of-the-art medical facility being developed to provide specialized treatment and rehabilitation services for patients suffering from neurological disorders across Pakistan.
Younus Khan to Champion Healthcare Initiative
Younus Khan, one of Pakistan’s greatest cricket legends and the captain who led the national team to victory in the ICC T20 World Cup, will join HHRD representatives in highlighting the urgent need for advanced neurological healthcare services in Pakistan.
The initiative seeks to improve access to quality treatment for patients battling neurological diseases while expanding rehabilitation services through the KIND-R project.
