On the instructions of Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the distribution of welfare projects, minority cards, is underway in Mandi Bahauddin district as well as throughout the province. A ceremony was held in this regard at the District Council Hall. Deputy Commissioner Adeel Haider distributed minority cards among the deserving people. Deputy Director Social Welfare Atif Ali Warraich said that 42 minority cards were received for Mandi Bahauddin district, under which quarterly installments of Rs 10,500 are being paid to deserving minority families. Deputy Commissioner Adeel Haider said that the minority card is a good initiative to strengthen the foundation of an Islamic and welfare state. In which financial assistance is being provided to the minorities keeping in mind their self-respect. Minority cards are being distributed without any recommendation. At the ceremony, the minority community thanked Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif for providing minority cards.
