Police, Aspire Group Sign Education MoU

FAISALABAD: The Regional Police Office (RPO) Faisalabad and the Aspire Group of Colleges, including Rising Grammar School, Khurrianwala, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide educational relief to children of police personnel.
The MoU was signed by RPO Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera and Director Aspire Group of Colleges Jawad Asghar. Under the agreement, children of police martyrs will receive a 100 per cent waiver in tuition and registration fees along with uniform and Books, children of Ghazi police officers will be given a 70 per cent concession, while children of serving police employees will receive a 50 per cent fee concession.
Addressing students on the occasion, RPO Sohail Sukhera urged them to stay away from drugs and firmly say no to narcotics. He advised students to avoid bad company, remain focused on their studies and play a positive role in society. He said drug abuse was a serious threat to youth and could ruin their future.
The RPO said providing quality and affordable education to police families was a top priority of the department. He added that Faisalabad police were fully committed to the welfare and higher education of the children of martyrs, Ghazis and serving personnel and such initiatives would continue in the future.
