FDA DG Asif Ch directs resolving all public complaints

Faisalabad:Director General Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has directed that no public grievance should remain pending, emphasizing that immediate action must be taken on complaints received via the One Window Counter, the Chief Minister’s Portal, or any other channel to ensure swift redressal. Presiding over a meeting to review the performance of the One Window Counter and the status of complaint resolution, he further instructed that if a complaint does not fall under the FDA’s jurisdiction, a response should be dispatched immediately to redirect it. The meeting was attended by Additional Director General Qaiser Abbas Rind, Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub, Director IT Yasir Ejaz Chattha, Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin, Directors Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj, Sohail Maqsood Pannu, Deputy Director IT/In-charge One Window Counter Abdullah Noor and other officials. While reviewing the details of public grievances, the FDA Director General reaffirmed his commitment to making FDA services “complaint-free” and urged all departments to perform their duties with maximum efficiency. He stressed that complaints forwarded by the Chief Minister’s Portal, the Punjab Government, or the divisional and district administrations must be handled on a priority basis, warning that departmental officers will be held accountable if reminder letters are received due to delays. He maintained that there should be no lag in resolving issues within the FDA’s mandate, while irrelevant complaints should be promptly referred to the appropriate forums. Furthermore, DG FDA directed that the “e-Biz Punjab” help desk at the One Window Counter remain fully functional to ensure the seamless implementation of the Punjab Government’s “Ease of Doing Business” initiatives. He concluded by instructing the Additional Director General to maintain rigorous departmental monitoring and to initiate disciplinary action against any staff found guilty of negligence or inattention to public concerns.
