RPO Faisalabad resolves 2400 complaints through khuli kacheri, ensures prompt action

Faisalabad: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera, held an open court (khuli kacheri) at the RPO office, where he listened to citizen’s complaints and applications and issued on the spot orders for redress.
According to a police spokesperson, the RPO said that all complaints were being heard attentively and that immediate redressal was being ensured. He directed the relevant officers to conduct prompt inquiries and take necessary action, ensuring that reports are submitted within the stipulated timeframe. It was further stated that more than 2,400 complainants have been provided relief so far this year.
Speaking on the occasion, RPO Sukhera said that protection of life and property of citizens and prompt provision of justice remained the police department’s top priorities. He reiterated that a zero-tolerance policy was being strictly implemented against misconduct with citizens and unnecessary delays in the registration of cases.The RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera also stressed upon police officers to ensure that investigations are conducted strictly on merit and without succumbing to any external pressure. He added that all possible measures were being taken to ensure timely resolution of public complaints and to improve the standard of service delivery.
