PMAP stages sit-in in front of DC Complex against killing of worker

Chaman (Syed Sardar Muhammad Khondai)

A protest demonstration was held today under the auspices of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) against the killing of its member, Nazar Muhammad, who was shot dead by unknown armed men last night.
The protesters marched through various roads of the city and reached in front of the Deputy Commissioner Chaman Complex, where they placed the body and staged a sit-in.
The protest meeting was addressed by leaders of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Awami National Party and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, along with representatives from different schools of thought.
Strongly condemning the tragic incident, the speakers demanded that the administration play its full role and take immediate action to arrest the killers, otherwise they would further expand the protest.
The speakers said that such incidents are a question mark for the administration and state institutions. District Chaman has been handed over to dacoits and armed gangs, where no one’s life and property is safe.
