Punjab Public Private Partnership Authority Holds Key Meeting

Attock (Ejaz-ul-Hassan): A key meeting of the Punjab Public Private Partnership Authority was held under the chairmanship of Senior Provincial Minister Punjab Maryam Aurangzeb, with Punjab Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Chairman Nawabzada Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan, MPA, in attendance.

The meeting reviewed ongoing and proposed projects being undertaken under the public-private partnership framework in Punjab. Participants also discussed development-related matters and ways to improve the provision of public facilities through collaboration with the private sector.

The meeting focused on strengthening public-private cooperation across various sectors and exploring opportunities to accelerate development projects and improve services for citizens.

Chairman P&D Board Punjab, Secretary Finance Department, Secretary Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Secretary Highways Punjab, Secretary School Education Department Punjab, along with secretaries of various other departments and senior officials concerned, also attended the meeting.

The participants discussed matters related to the implementation and development of public-private partnership projects and emphasized effective coordination among relevant government departments and private-sector stakeholders.

The meeting is expected to contribute to further strengthening the public-private partnership framework in Punjab and supporting development initiatives aimed at improving public services and infrastructure across the province.
