Pakistani Security Forces End Train Hijacking, Kill 33 Militants in Balochistan

ISPR Confirms Successful Operation, Hundreds of Hostages Rescued

Islamabad – Pakistani security forces have successfully ended a dramatic hostage crisis after storming a train hijacked by separatist militants in Balochistan. The military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), confirmed that all 33 attackers were killed in a precision operation, ensuring the safe rescue of hundreds of passengers.

The hijacking began early Tuesday morning when heavily armed militants seized control of the passenger train near Mach, a town in the restive Balochistan province. The attackers, linked to a separatist insurgency, reportedly demanded the release of imprisoned fighters and sought to draw attention to their cause.

After hours of tense negotiations, security forces launched a carefully coordinated assault to neutralize the threat. In a statement released after the operation, ISPR praised the swift action of the military and law enforcement agencies.
