News Report: Toba Tek Singh – Secretary Mohsin Riaz of the Regional Transport Authority has led a major crackdown on traffic violations in the district. Over 2887 vehicles were inspected, resulting in 118 challans for smoke emissions, 154 for overloading, and 375 for overcharging. A total of 466 vehicles were impounded, with fines amounting to over Rs 17 lakh, all deposited in the Punjab treasury. Secretary Riaz warned that action will continue against those violating traffic rules, aiming to improve public safety and reduce pollution.
