Commissioner Shoaib Iqbal Syed has urged the Agriculture Department to maintain close contact with farmers to enhance wheat production. During a review meeting, he emphasized the need for field staff to hold farmer meetings and provide essential guidance. He confirmed that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is overseeing the campaign for food security, and directed officials to ensure a controlled supply of fertilizers. So far, around 31,000 acres have been cultivated in the division, with canal water available until November 15.
