On March 12, in celebration of China’s Arbor Day, the Mohmand Project Department in Pakistan organized a “Green Friendship Forest” initiative, bringing together Chinese and Pakistani employees. Workers from both nations joined hands to plant trees, shovel soil, build dikes, and water the saplings, symbolizing their shared commitment to environmental sustainability.
The event was filled with teamwork and joy as employees contributed to local greenery while strengthening the deep-rooted friendship between China and Pakistan. This initiative not only enhanced the ecological landscape but also reinforced the spirit of cooperation under the Belt and Road initiative, allowing it to flourish amid Pakistan’s green mountains and rivers.
