Celebration of Independence is the Hallmark of Living Nations and Education is the Key to its Protection: Syed Sardar Khondai

Grand ceremony on Independence Day and prize distribution at Iqra Ilmi Markaz Chaman, cash prizes distributed among position holders

Chaman (Special Report) Grand functions were held at both branches of Iqra Ilmi Markaz Chaman in connection with Independence Day and the announcement of six-monthly examination results.
The chief guest of the ceremony at the boys’ section was senior journalist and Founder & Head of Iqra Ilmi Markaz Chaman, Syed Sardar Muhammad Khondai. The event commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem. All participants and students stood up to show respect for the National Anthem.
Speech competitions were held among the students, while students also demonstrated spectacular Karate skills and presented national songs. Cash prizes were distributed among the students who secured first, second and third positions. The ceremony was also addressed by Juma Khan Achakzai, Amanullah Shadman, Naseebullah Achakzai and other respected teachers.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest Syed Sardar Muhammad Khondai said, “Celebration of Independence is the hallmark of living nations and education is the key to protecting it.” He said Pakistan is like our home and we must serve it in every field. Pakistan achieved independence after immense sacrifices.
He added that in this challenging era, the only way to lead a successful life and serve the country is through education. If we show negligence in acquiring knowledge, we will be like blind people. He made a heartfelt appeal to all members of society and parents to educate their children, and urged teachers to play their vital role to ensure a bright future for our children.
At the end, prizes were distributed among the position holders. A graceful ceremony was also organized at the girls’ section, where students presented colorful anthems, national songs and excellent speeches.
