August 14, 2026: The Attock Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a dignified and enthusiastic

ceremony to mark Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, with participants expressing their love for the country, national unity and commitment to Pakistan’s development and prosperity.
The ceremony was attended by Attock Chamber President Shahid Zaman, Senior Vice President Muhammad Ajaz, executive members and other representatives of the chamber. Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Attock Anil Saeed attended the event as the chief guest, adding further significance to the occasion.
Speakers paid tribute to the great leaders of the Pakistan Movement, martyrs and all those who made sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan. They emphasized that the true value of independence lies in promoting unity, discipline, hard work, integrity and a strong sense of national responsibility.
Addressing the ceremony, Attock Chamber President Shahid Zaman said that Pakistan’s future is bright and full of opportunities. He said the business and industrial community would continue playing its role in strengthening the national economy, creating employment opportunities, promoting investment and supporting the growth of local trade and industry.
He added that Independence Day reminds citizens to rise above personal interests and work collectively for the development, progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
Senior Vice President Muhammad Ajaz said the business community is playing an important role in the country’s economic development. He said the Attock Chamber would continue working to resolve the issues faced by businesses, promote trade and contribute to the economic development of the region.
Chief Guest ADCG Attock Anil Saeed appreciated the Attock Chamber for organizing the Independence Day ceremony. He emphasized that strong cooperation between the government, administration, business community and public is essential for national development. He also appreciated the positive role of the business community and stressed the importance of collective efforts for the progress of the country.
During the ceremony, participants expressed their best wishes for Pakistan’s security, stability, prosperity and development. They reaffirmed that the Attock Chamber of Commerce and Industry would continue representing the business community while contributing to national unity, social responsibility and Pakistan’s economic growth.
The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan.
