Annual Urs Celebrations Held at Masjid Siddiqia, Mari Kanjur

A dignified and spiritually uplifting annual Urs ceremony was held at Masjid Siddiqia in Mari Kanjur, Attock, which was attended by a large number of religious scholars, prominent personalities, local dignitaries, and devotees.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The Naat reciters expressed their devotion and love for the Prophet ﷺ, while the participants attended the gathering with great reverence and respect.
Addressing the gathering, Hazrat Allama Maulana Muhammad Rafiq said that the blessed life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ is the best example for the entire Muslim Ummah. He said that the Prophet ﷺ taught humanity the values of love, brotherhood, justice, fairness, and good character.
He stressed that Muslims should make every effort to live their lives according to the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, as success in this world and the Hereafter lies in following the commandments of Allah Almighty and the teachings of His beloved Prophet ﷺ.
He further said that the saints and spiritual elders of Islam have always played an important role in spreading the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah and encouraging people towards righteousness and goodness. Such spiritual gatherings, he added, help promote love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ and strengthen religious awareness among the people.
The arrangements for the Urs were specially made by Numberdar Malik Sajid Irfan and Malik Yasir Mahmood. The participants appreciated their efforts and described the arrangements as excellent, well-organized, and commendable.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, a special prayer was offered for the safety, prosperity, and well-being of the country and nation, the elevation of the Muslim Ummah, and the welfare of all those present.
Among those who attended the ceremony were Hazrat Allama Al-Haj Qari Raqeeb Ahmad Chishti, Hazrat Allama Ehsan Madani, Hazrat Allama Qari Nisar Ahmad Chishti, Hazrat Allama Maulana Israr Ahmad, Hazrat Allama Maulana Shahid Aqeel, Hazrat Allama Waqar Ahmad Qureshi, Hazrat Allama Maulana Bilal Rahim Attari, Hazrat Allama Maulana Umar Attari, Hazrat Allama Maulana Waheed Akhtar Attari, Hazrat Allama Maulana Liaqat Ali, Malik Umar Hayat, Malik Rajab Ali Awan, Malik Firas Ali Awan, Malik Imran Attari, and Finance Secretary, Pakistan Journalists Association Attock, Malik Kamran Akhtar, along with other distinguished guests and local residents.
