Attock: World First Aid Day Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm Under the Auspices of Rescue 1122

Like other parts of the world, World First Aid Day was observed with great enthusiasm in District Attock on September 12. On this occasion, Rescue 1122 Attock organized various training and awareness activities across the district.
District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Attock, Dr. Mian Muhammad Ashfaq, said that the purpose of observing World First Aid Day is to raise public awareness about the importance of first aid, particularly Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

A special training session was organized at the Central Station Attock for members of the journalist community and the general public. During the session, the District Emergency Officer provided participants with practical CPR training and registered them as volunteers with Rescue 1122.

He further stated that similar first aid and CPR training sessions were also conducted in other tehsils of District Attock by the respective Tehsil In-charges and Rescue teams. The sessions were organized for students of schools and colleges as well as various community groups. Individuals who received the training were also registered as Rescue 1122 volunteers.
