District Development Committee Meeting Held Under Chairmanship of D C Chaman, Directives Issued for Timely Completion of Development Projects

Chaman (Syed Sardar Mohammad Khondai) An important meeting of the District Development Committee (DDC) was held at the Deputy Commissioner Office, Chaman, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Habib Ahmed Bangulzai.

The meeting was attended by Pakistan Army, civil administration and heads and representatives of all relevant departments of the district. The meeting reviewed in detail the ongoing development projects across the district, the performance of government institutions and public welfare matters.

Officers of various departments gave a detailed briefing to the Deputy Commissioner on their ongoing projects and assigned targets. In particular, detailed discussions were held on the progress, construction quality and completion timeline of projects completed and under construction under BSDI Phase-III.

The meeting also reviewed road construction and repair, drainage and other basic civic amenities projects in Chaman city and its surroundings. In addition, the beautification of the city, cleanliness campaign, performance of educational institutions, the health department and municipal services were also reviewed.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Habib Ahmed Bangulzai said that mutual liaison and effective coordination among all institutions is indispensable for the timely resolution of public issues. He directed that the use of quality material in all development projects should be ensured and they should be completed within the stipulated time.

He further said that special attention should be paid to the cleanliness, beautification and improvement of basic facilities of Chaman city so that Chaman can be made a clean, beautiful and well-facilitated city.
