Haji Zar Alam Khan Visits Govt Degree College Khweshgi
(By Anwar Zeb Khan) PESHAWAR: Parliamentary Secretary for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and MPA PK-85 Haji Zar Alam Khan visited Government Degree College Khweshgi, where he received a warm red-carpet welcome from the college administration.
Principal Government Degree College Khweshgi Asad Khan, Sardar Fakhar Alam Khan and other members of the college administration were present on the occasion.Haji Zar Alam Khan congratulated the principal and college administration on the establishment of the new college and the record number of admissions during its very first academic session. He appreciated their efforts and expressed his best wishes for the institution and its students.Speaking on the occasion, Haji Zar Alam Khan said that regular classes of the newly established college were commencing from today, providing an important educational opportunity to the youth of the area. He urged the students to focus on their studies, work hard and strive to build a bright and successful future.
The parliamentary secretary later visited different classrooms of the college and reviewed the ongoing educational activities. He also interacted with students and took an overview of the facilities and academic arrangements being made for the new session.Members of the college administration briefed Haji Zar Alam Khan about the academic arrangements, enrolment and other matters related to the functioning of the institution. The visit also provided an opportunity to review the requirements of the newly established college and the facilities available for students.On the occasion, residents of Khweshgi expressed their gratitude to the provincial government and Haji Zar Alam Khan for approving and establishing the new boys’ degree college in the area. They said the establishment of the college had fulfilled a long-standing educational need of the local community and would provide students with better access to higher education without having to travel to distant areas.The residents also appreciated the efforts made for starting regular academic activities and hoped that the college would continue to expand its educational facilities and play an important role in promoting higher education among the youth of Khweshgi and surrounding areas.
