Sohail Afridi PTI March will begin from Gandi Chowk in Lakki Marwat on October 4 as PTI calls for constitutional and legal rights.

PESHAWAR (By Anwar Zeb Khan) — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has confirmed plans for the Sohail Afridi PTI March on October 4. The march will begin from Gandi Chowk in Lakki Marwat at 1pm.

The Sohail Afridi PTI March comes as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continues its political campaign over constitutional rights and judicial independence. Afridi said PTI has the right to hold a peaceful protest under the Constitution.

According to reports, the government and opposition also held talks on October 3. The talks focused on political issues and the planned PTI march. Despite the dialogue, PTI has kept the October 4 schedule in place.

Sohail Afridi PTI March Starts From Lakki Marwat

The Sohail Afridi PTI March will start from Gandi Chowk in Lakki Marwat at 1pm on October 4. Afridi said the march would continue until PTI’s stated demands receive attention.

Afridi said PTI wants the supremacy of the Constitution and law. He also called for an independent judiciary. He described peaceful protest as a constitutional right. These points reflect Afridi’s stated position and PTI’s political demands.

The march will follow a planned route through parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the announced schedule, Karak will be the first stop. The convoy will then reach Kohat on October 5. It will move toward Peshawar on October 6.

PTI leaders have also asked supporters to join the procession peacefully. Reports say caravans from Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, South Waziristan and Bannu will first gather in Lakki Marwat. Other regional groups are also expected to join the wider procession.

The Sohail Afridi PTI March follows PTI’s earlier decision to postpone its planned September 27 march. The party moved the date to October 4. Afridi and other PTI leaders have since continued preparations for the new date.

Afridi also referred to the events of May 9. He said PTI would not allow a repeat of those events. He also made claims about CCTV footage and responsibility for the violence. Those claims remain allegations made by Afridi and should not be treated as independently established facts.

The government has also commented on the planned march. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said Afridi’s statements could affect the talks between the government and opposition. He urged PTI leaders to avoid statements that could harm the dialogue process.

Sohail Afridi PTI March Raises Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Security Issues

The Sohail Afridi PTI March also comes amid debate over security in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Afridi has raised concerns about military operations, displacement and drone attacks.

Afridi argued that military operations against local populations cannot provide a lasting solution to terrorism. He also criticized drone attacks and raised concerns about civilian casualties. These are his political views and claims about security policy.

The chief minister also questioned the security situation in Balochistan. He asked why peace had not returned to the province despite cooperation between provincial and federal authorities. He also raised questions about weapons purchased for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police.

Afridi has previously said that a change in security policy could improve peace in the province. He has also claimed that his government could restore peace within 100 days through a different approach. These statements represent Afridi’s position rather than an independently verified forecast.

The Sohail Afridi PTI March will therefore take place alongside an active political dialogue. The government and opposition are holding talks while PTI continues preparations for the October 4 event.

PTI plans to start the procession from Gandi Chowk in Lakki Marwat at 1pm. Karak is scheduled as the first stop, followed by Kohat on October 5 and Peshawar on October 6.

The coming days will show how the Sohail Afridi PTI March develops as PTI supporters gather across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The political talks will also remain important as both sides discuss their positions on the march and wider political issues.
