FIA Sets Up Pre-Departure Immigration Facilitation Desk at Faisalabad Airport

FAISALABAD: The Pre-Departure Immigration Facilitation Desk established at Faisalabad International Airport and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Zonal Office Faisalabad is fully operational to guide and facilitate citizens travelling abroad, FIA Zonal Office Faisalabad Director Saqib Sultan has said.
He stated that the primary objective of the desk is to provide citizens with essential information regarding immigration laws, travel documents and lawful travel procedures before departure. The initiative aims to help travellers avoid unnecessary difficulties, delays and legal complications during their journeys.
Guidance for Overseas Travellers
Saqib Sultan said citizens intending to travel abroad should ensure that all travel documents and other required papers are complete and valid before departure.
The facilitation desk provides guidance on immigration-related matters, legal requirements and precautionary measures to help passengers avoid potential problems during international travel.
He added that public awareness and facilitation are among the FIA’s key priorities. By providing timely and relevant information, the department aims to help citizens complete their travel formalities efficiently and comply with applicable immigration regulations.

The FIA director urged prospective overseas travellers to carefully check their documents before departure, familiarise themselves with the relevant immigration rules and follow all legal procedures.
