In a tragic incident in the Jani Khel area of Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, four people were killed, and four others, including a woman and children, were injured when unidentified assailants opened fire on a moving vehicle.

Police identified the deceased as Malik Shadi Khel, Ajab Khan, Ajmal, and a woman. The attack occurred in the Sen Tanga Waki area, with the injured rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

This incident comes a day after seven police officers were kidnapped from a local post. The DPO has stated that efforts are underway to rescue the abducted officers. Investigations into both cases are ongoing.
